Nov. 11, 2021, 11:19 a.m.

This is a pivotal moment for our nation and the pro-life movement, of which the Church is a vital part. December 1, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. The case addresses the constitutionality of a 15-week abortion ban passed into law in Mississippi, and it has the potential to limit or overturn Roe v. Wade A decision is expected next June.

KEY WAYS TO PRAY FOR DOBBS

The Sisters of Life were inspired to begin a prayer campaign to pray monthly for a pro-life outcome in Dobbs. You can learn more about it here: https://archny.org/ministries-and-offices/respect-life/events-2/pray-for-dobbs/

Moreover, other Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant national faith leaders are calling people of faith nationwide to join Pray for Dobbs, a united campaign of prayer and fasting.

An informational webinar took place October 14 in which participants heard why the case is important and how to get involved and encourage others to get involved. The full recording and clips are available on YouTube.
